1. Eligibility

By using Paj, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Description of Services

Paj provides a protocol and infrastructure that enables users and businesses to convert digital assets into fiat currency (“off-ramping”) through integrated partners and service providers.

Paj does not act as a bank, custodian, or financial advisor unless explicitly stated.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may be required to:

• Create an account
• Complete identity verification (KYC/AML)
• Provide accurate and current information

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Compliance and Verification

You agree to:

• Provide truthful and complete information
• Update information as needed
• Comply with all applicable laws, including AML, CFT, and sanctions regulations

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend, restrict, or terminate your access
• Refuse service
• Report suspicious activity to relevant authorities

5. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent compliance systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services or infrastructure
• Misrepresent your identity or transaction purpose

You are solely responsible for:

• Your use of the Services
• Any transactions initiated through your account
• Ensuring compliance with your local laws

6. Fees and Payments

Fees may apply to transactions and are disclosed prior to execution.

You agree to pay all applicable fees and authorize Paj or its partners to deduct such fees from transaction amounts where applicable.

7. Transactions and Finality

All transactions executed through Paj are final and irreversible, except as required by law.

You acknowledge that:

• Blockchain transactions are irreversible
• Fiat payouts may be subject to delays due to banking systems or compliance checks
• Paj does not guarantee processing times

8. Risk Disclosure

You acknowledge and accept the risks associated with:

• Cryptocurrency price volatility
• Blockchain network congestion or failure
• Regulatory changes
• Third-party service provider failures

You use the Services at your own risk.

9. Third-Party Services

Paj integrates with third-party providers, including payment processors, banks, KYC vendors, and blockchain networks.

We are not responsible for:

• Their services, actions, or omissions
• Any losses arising from their performance or failures

Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, software, trademarks, and materials provided by Paj are owned by or licensed to Paj and protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer the Services
• Use Paj branding without written permission

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if:

• You violate these Terms
• We are required to do so by law
• We believe your activity poses legal, security, or reputational risk

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement

We do not warrant that:

• The Services will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Transactions will be successful or timely

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Paj and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you to Paj in the six (6) months preceding the claim

This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Paj, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of:

• Your use of the Services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any law or third-party rights

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
• Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Nigeria, unless otherwise required by law.

16. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Paj regarding the Services.
